I went to the LA Rams victory over the Minnesota Vikings Wild Card game this week and was hungry after the game and decided no fast food, time to celebrate their 27-9 victory! Hmmmm......late night Chinese sounded good and I found the Dragon Flame less than a mile from my hotel (actually a motel called the University Inn) Easy parking, there were people dining around 1130pm which is a good sign. I wanted to try several dishes so here is my take on the four I ordered: 1) Lamb skewers*****. very tasty and quite perfect. They were not chewy at all as others have commented but tender, juicy and flavorful. 2)) Steamed (soup) dumplings*** 1/2*; my issue is I compare with the perfect soup dumpling from Din Tai Fung and these are not close but were still tasty. Not sure how to prevent them from tearing when lifting from the steaming paper 3) Shrimp Fried Rice**** some crazy 1800 year old recipe is used but this is a great dish. They pride themselves on the generous egg laden dish. This is a good dish, generous portion and very tasty. 4) Scallops** unfortunately this was my least favorite dish and would have gotten a single star mainly since the scallop was not good (bad since this is a center stage of this dish) BUT the surrounding glass rice noodles and accoutrements were actually very tasty elevating this dish to 2 stars. I do not recommend ordering this dish. 5) Mexican Coke***** always a winner to wash down a late night meal. Service was great, attentive. The location is fine near the university (Arizona State University) which is awesome for the students looking for late night better than fast food. Food is a solid 4 star but being open until 2am means another star for us late night diners!

Great atmosphere amazing customer service went in there, not knowing what to expect and was blown away bento took care of us besides the amazing food the service was unmatched would definitely go back just to see Bento

Went to this place twice in my 4 days stay in Tempe. The service was top notch very friendly and made you feel welcome. You order through the app in alignment with today's trend. Menu is limited but very selective. The quantity and quality of the food is A+. The ambiance was to its name had a red tone to it with a flying dragon suspended from the roof. Ordered Kong Pao Chicken popcorn one day and another day their pineapple chicken both were very good. I liked their Kong Pao chicken more.

Food is great. Try the dumplings. Service is odd. Friendly but odd. I'll be back.

This has been my favorite restaurant so far in Arizona. The food here is ahhh-mazing! 8/10 - Loved the Chong Ching Noodles - I feel like it can be shared between 2 people. I don't think it's spicy, but it can come off spicy because of the Szechuan flavor. The portion is huge. 9.5/10 - I really liked the steam dumplings too. Great flavor. They were kind enough to let me also try some complimentary lamb soup dumplings as well. I don't see it on the menu tho - I don't even like lamb, but I didn't taste the gamey-ness of the lamb too which is a good thing.

Let me start by they serve huge portions My boyfriend eats a lot. He ordered two plates. That's what he usually eats, but babyyy this place serves portions. One order can feed the whole family lol the food was amazing. The staff were super friendly. They offered us free dumplings. The decor inside is wild super unique I would definitely go back.

The spicy is very legit, and they marinate and cook the skewers very good! The steam dumplings are mediocre, I am not very impressed. This place is right to the campus, easy to find and great place to hang out. The service is fast. One recommendation, I wish the owner or manager could tidy things up a little, it is kind of unorganized at the take out area.

Delicious fresh food with great service. My friend took me to this place and I really enjoyed it. We had the lemon chicken, ramen, fresh dumplings and dessert. What I love about the food is the natural flavors and I did not feel bloated afterwards. The place is small so it gets full fast but it is so worth it.
